VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Education is crucial in the development of a child - to lift themselves out from the grips of living in under resourced circumstances. The majority of our volunteering projects are focused around teaching in varying categories. Depending on your skills and interests you may find one option more appealing than the others. Remember that every project you see here, Gap Year South Africa has selected as suitable opportunities for our volunteers, having taken the necessary steps to ensure each volunteer is safe in the project, assisted by facilitators, and is making a meaningful impact within the community, by helping to improve the circumstances of others.

You can select more than one of the following options that we have available and you are also able to add other projects from other programs to your Gap Year South Africa Package.
You will be given a week-long induction which gives each volunteer the opportunity to try out every project in order to make a more informed decision as to which project you will commit too.
